Our COVID Protocols and Procedures "Faith Over Fear"

We are a people of faith over fear but not of foolishness. As such, we will react with precautions and not panic. God is still in control and not panic. God is still in control and our peace lies not in what is going on in the world but in the promises in His Word.

Faith Over Fear, with God's Word:
God's Word is the lamp unto our feet and the light unto our path (Psalm 119:105). We are encouraged to hide God's Word in our hearts (Psalm 119:11), and this will guide our steps. We deepen our faith as we continually hear the Word of God (Romans 10:17). The way we overcome fear with faith is to focus our attention on God through His Word.

Scriptures to Meditate On:
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock. ~ Isaiah 26:3-4 (ESV)

Serve Others:
Every need in the world is a chance to share God's love. As people of faith over fear, we do not respond to this COVID-19 crisis with panic or self-preservation but with serving those who are vulnerable.

We can be a light in the darkness and show the love of Jesus, whether it is through running an errand for an elderly neighbor, comforting someone who is anxious, volunteering at a food bank, or giving towards disaster relief efforts.

Reach out to your campus church for opportunities to serve your community. You can increase your generosity by giving above and beyond your tithes to your church. We are the Alive Church.
