
Job Title: Office Assistant
Reports To: Executive Administrator
Employment Type: Part-Time (12 hours per week)
Work Location: In-person at the church office
Position Summary:
New Life Alive Church is seeking a dedicated and organized Church Secretary to provide administrative support to church leadership and ministries. The assistant will be responsible for managing the church calendar, handling emails and mail, maintaining office systems, and assisting the administrative team as needed. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a heart for ministry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Calendar & Scheduling Management
• Maintain and update the church calendar with events, meetings, and programs.
• Coordinate with ministry leaders and administrative staff to ensure accurate scheduling.
• Ensure timely communication of schedule changes to relevant parties.
2. Office & Clerical Support
• Answer and direct phone calls and emails from the general church inbox.
• Organize and manage church documents, records, and administrative files.
• Assist the Executive Administrator and Administrative Assistants with office tasks as needed.
